With manufacturing and services zones, residential and social infrastructure, on-site substations for electricity, treated water and waste management networks, MWC, Chennai stands as a model for future sustainable urban development projects.

Mahindra World City, Jaipur
After the unprecedented success of the first "World City" project in Chennai, we launched Mahindra World City, Jaipur in 2007. Also on the Golden Quadrilateral and similar to MWC Chennai, MWC Jaipur is promoted by Mahindra and RIICO, a Government of Rajasthan undertaking. With a 3,000 acre development comprising a multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and a Domestic Tariff Area (DTA), MWC Jaipur is home to an increasing number of global corporates, and a pragmatic example of sustainable urban living.

Water Distribution
Since 2002, we have collaborated with United Utilities International to transform one of India’s largest water distribution schemes. Our engineers operate and manage the Tirupur Water Supply and Sewerage project. Providing 185 million litres of high-quality potable water around-the-clock, and collecting and treating up to 15 million litres of waste water everyday, we’re proud to be doing our part for the country’s leading region for cotton knitwear exports.

Mahindra Water Utilities
Mahindra Water Utilities is a joint venture between Mahindra Infrastructure and United Utilities International. In 2002, we took on the responsibility of extracting and distributing water to the Tirupur region, famous for its cotton knitwear exports and reliant on a secure and uninterrupted supply of clean water. Our team of engineers and professionals continue to manage, operate and maintain India’s largest water distribution project. Furthermore, we are also the first Indian water utilities company to secure ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 certification - proof of our commitment to international standards of water safety.
